My lady Ruby, gave me the letter J to play the letter game with. I will use two J's today to describe my mom since she found a new job:

Jumping for Joy!

In came just in the nick of time because they were gonna close her office down November 10th, but today they decided the last day would be Oct 31st! Jeesh!

Here's how we all celebrated:

Paris took her corn shank to her den to chew;

I played soccer;

And Lilly practiced her Halloween eyes!

Sleeping in the sunshine Sunday

I'm gonna take my Rubykins idea and nap in the sunshine today!! (And of course dream about her while I'm at it):

Wait a minute.....is that a cookie box being opened in the kitchen???

I better get a napping spot closer to where the cookie action is...

Much better - here I can dream about my babe and wait for those delicious doggy treats to arrive in my belly!!

-Eat a WHOLE chocolate bar. (See previous post)

-Squeeze my vets butt, like she does mine (darn anal glands)


-Somehow get into the treat cabinet & go to town.


-Ban cuddling!

-Poop on the carpet in front of the TV


-Wiggle out of my 'rents arm when they try to hold me


-Everyday at 5PM, unplug the TV so the digital TV guide won't come on at least for another hour.


-Bring a ton of pecans in every day (we have a pecan tree outside) and strew them about the house.


-Hurry up and eat my dinner then go lick my sissy's bowls (They finish first though)


-Act like a maniac when I go on walkies.


-Bark at the cat everyday.





7 Things I can't Do:


-Scratch my butt (legs too short)


-Stand hugs from mom and dad


-Go out the front door, dang it


-Go in the garage anymore (Somebody caused too much damage.....)


-Catch that darn RLB (mom's note: he means his laser light toy)


-Get in that treat cabinet
-Convince mom to play soccer 24/7

Mom, CHOCOLATE??

I hope mom isn't trying to kill me. Look what I found on the kitchen counter:

Note from mom: Silly Mack. Those were CAROB chip cookies. And dang it, if you survived the Ghirardelli chocolate squares you STOLE off the dining room table last week, I think these cookies aren't gonna hurt you!

And I do have a birthday next week....maybe the camera is for moi????

Bonesikhle Sunday

Our good friend, Khyra, gave my mom a wonderful new doggy treat recipe - Bonesikhles!!

Here are the ingredients. Mom added a few little things of her own.This is the "before" picture:

Not shown are milkbones to stuff in the center along with the yogurt drops!

Mom only puts a little bit of peanut butter on the ends.

What's up with that mom??

Well mom hasn't been in a very good mood lately. Her job is really getting her down. They told her this week her office would close October 30, then it was November 30, now it could possibly be before the end of October!! So she is looking for another job fast and furiously! So if we don't come round to your blogs, it's my secretary's (mom's) fault!! Please forgive us (her). We really miss you guys when we don't see you every day.

Anyway, I know the mom's is kinda down...but she had NO RIGHT to declare this my theme song:
