I am REALLY In Trouble...

Oh yeah. Big time.

My mom forgave my pooping on the living room floor. But she has yet to forgive me for what I did the other day. I admit...I was bad. I couldn't control myself. It would be too much to ask of any dog.

Here's what happened:

My dad's cockatoo, Juanita, was dancing around in her cage and either fell off a perch or decided she wanted to fly smack dab into Mackyland. Well of course I had to lunge at her. And I just could not help myself - I bit her!

My mom and dad were all yelling and stuff and screaming and I released her right away - no harm done! She was perfectly okay but mom and dad were all hysterical and took her in another room to look at her and make sure she was okay. And of course she was. I didn't break the skin or anything like that - sheesh.

They took Juana to the vet and she was perfectly A-okay. So I should be forgiven, right??

Well no way. Get this - I AM BANNED FROM THE COMPUTER FOR A WEEK! Dang!

So please be warned - there is no telling what the "others" will write or say or what pictures they will post. This is just so unfair.

I'm gonna miss you guys!!

G'day Mack

I mustn't have read this properly, 'cause it sounds to me like she fell off the perch and you caught her before she could hit the floor! Thats was a good think wasn't it?

Cheers

Maybe the bird had collapsed you were giving it mouth to mouth. Clearly you saved that bird and should be a hero.

So why are YOU being punished when stupid Juanita should be? Who LEFT her cage? Did you climb into it and attack her, Mack? Of course not! You were just defending yourself when she flounced into your territory. I protest! I may not read your blog for a week.

Waaaaaaaaaaa! Life is so unfair!

I heard stories about when Big Pupi got my mom's two cockatiels. They did the cockatiel "death scream" and he tried to swallow one whole (a little too big to go down the shoot). Mom managed to save them and they were also A-OK thanks to the "soft mouth" of a bird dog breed! They never again mocked or teased Big Pupi after that.

My dearest Paris, if we were to wed then you shall become a polish princess with a "__ski" last name. However, I feel that I may too immature for you at only 2 years old, and I do not have a way to make the cheese money for us. So I offer you this:

...as a Promise Collar. I promise that I will find a cheese-money-making job and once I have grown to a mature 3 years old we shall become a family. My mom says that I must spend this next year learning how to open doors, pull out chairs, take out the trash (instead of eating it) and sharing my chew toys. Basically, she will work on my gentleman skills so that I may be worthy of my blond bombshell trophy wife.

We shall feast on the finest pierogies when the big day comes! Will you wait for me?

This is what you get for being thoughtful and making sure Juanita didn't splatter to the floor? NOT FAIR!

What in the Sam Hill were you thinking? Only cats go after birds. You deserve to be in trouble. We are looking forward to hearing from Lily.

May I suggest that Juanita is a witch at heart who set up poor little Mackie.

Of course she's okay! She lured you into an instinctual snap and then played the drama queen.

I'd demand an apology!

Oh my Mack...
I'm gone for a few days and this is what happens. Please don't take your sadness of missing me out of Juanita...I mean Paris I understand, maybe Lillie, but not poor Juanita. I'm so sorry...I feel this is somehow my fault from being away so long. I promise to be back next week.

I will miss you my love...your Ruby

You poor thing! Banned from the computer, how could they? I love to chase birds too. I guess that is the BT in us.

Good Luck, I hope you make it through the week.

Poor Mack!! It definitely isn't your fault-- that would be very tempting! Although our Grandmama has three birds, and we like them because they always dropt asty foods for us to eat when we are over there!
