Great memoir. My brother tells me that our humans used to have Juanita-like squawkers, but they were grey with goofy yellow faces. He said that they used to tease him a lot.
Nope, Big Pupi and I are not technically related. He was adopted from the Cocker Rescue in Austin about 3 years ago. Then he chose me at a rescue day in Houston 9 months ago. We get asked that question a lot!

YES. My family took me home from there last July. When were you adopted? It's a small world, isn't it?
Paris, I have been on two very long and life-changing car rides in my life:
1. the 3+ hours from the rescue day to my new home in Austin, and
2. the 3-day drive from Austin to Chicago at the end of October '07.
Chicago is cold, and I miss marking my territory along the trail and swimming in the Colorado. Lake Michigan is so chilly!
I think I was only at the rescue for a week or two. I just peaked at your blog and... I had an injury in my left eye too! A cherry eye. The rescue fixed me up there.
They think I was 10 months to a year when I showed up. Do you know for sure how old you are? (What if you're my SISTER! We can't date then...)

The Mommy wants Paris to know that a lady she work with that has a little girl named CoCo that looks just like her but with brown hair. She is cute but I think Paris is a whole lot cuter.
