My cousin Sheila's peeps went out of town so OF COURSE my mom had to volunteer to look after them.

I would really love a house like that. Anyhoo, mom went on and on and on about how sweet Sheila was. And what pretty "feathers" she has.
Mom said there was a "Phantom of the Opera dog" next door to Sheila. I bet I can sing better than him...

Looking despondant is better than the cold shoulder. It can scare them. Just lie down on your side and stare into space. If you can bring yourself to refuse food that really gets them, but I know that's hard to do. At least try to look like you're just picking at it. Guilt - it's what's for dinner.

Aw Mack, it is good that your mom helped out - because that way Sheila and Lilu weren't so lonely and stuff. But we can understand why you would miss your mom - she needs to be sure to give you lots of extra cuddles and treats!
